HOW DOES THEY WORK?

The TOGGLER® SnapSkru® anchor is the industry's first self-drilling drywall anchor that does NOT destroy the drywall when using the anchor. It is a true anchor, not just a small screw in a big screw like our competition!

When activated with a screw, the SnapSkru anchor opens with an audible "pop", locking the anchor on the wall. The drywall gypsum and its paper are kept in compression and thereby immediately reinforced.

The SnapSkru anchor significantly outholds all other self-drilling drywall anchors by more than 60% in 1/2" drywall, and by more than 80% in 5/8" drywall.

It has a built-in positive stop that prevents overdriving the anchor when using a screw gun. The SnapSkru anchor is even vibration and shock resistant.

WHY ARE THEY BETTER THAN CONVENTIONAL ANCHORS?

  • Greater tensile holding capacity [Higher pull-out values!]
    • In 1/2" drywall (gypsum board), the SnapSkru Regular SP anchor will hold over 79 lbs, 60% more than its closest competition.
    • The NEW SnapSkru MINI SPM anchor will hold over 65 lbs, which is 30% more than its regular sized competition.
    • In 5/8" drywall (gypsum board), the SnapSkru Regular SP anchor will hold over 135 lbs, 80% more than its closest competition.
    • The NEW SnapSkru MINI SPM anchor will hold over 95 lbs, which is 25% more than its regular sized competition.
  • The NEW SnapSkru MINI anchor makes only a small 1/4" hole. Its small head hides behind the fixture and always sits flush with the wall.
  • All SnapSkru anchors have a built-in "positive-stop" that prevents over-driving the anchor when using a screw gun.
  • The SnapSkru anchor is vibration and shock resistant.
  • The SnapSkru anchor activates with audible feedback: a noticeable sound indicating correct installation. (You can actually hear a loud "pop" when the anchor opens.) Our competitors' anchors do not give any indication that the anchor has been installed properly.
  • The SnapSkru anchor does not back out of the wall when the screw is removed. You can remove the screw, leaving the anchor safely in the wall, and then later reinstall your fixture in the same anchor with the same screw. Other self-drilling drywall anchors will NOT let you do this.
  • The SnapSkru anchor works in both walls and ceilings, accepts a greater range of screw sizes, and takes even less time to install than the competition.
  • It is easier to install the SnapSkru anchor accurately, because of its uniquely shaped tip. The anchor does not wander during installation.
  • It takes a greater amount of energy to remove the SnapSkru anchor totally from the wall during tensile load testing. The amount of work or energy required to remove the SnapSkru anchor totally from the wall during tensile loading is 20 times more than the competition's. This means a much safer anchorage.
